Can a blow off phase blow without Google (GOOG)?

It looks like GOOG has signaled an angular rule of 4 breakout, a breakout above a three point declining trendline.

If it scores an outside day up today it may be poised for a run to $560 sooner rather than later.

As a follow up, Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF) went out with a nice 1-2-3/180 pullback and looks poised for continuation.

Note how the pullback went into the gap from May 31 before reversing up.

Additionally in my experience first pullbacks in runaway names are classic odds on buy set-ups.

Note how a morning move over Friday's highs base on the 10-min chart will trigger a Rule of 4 Buy set up as well.

Things that make you go hmmm...

Market breadth seems begrudgingly better despite this Snapper.

The XAU has rallied directly to its 200-day moving average.

Given the "only game in town" status, I would have thought that peak viewership of financial content would be a lot higher than a few hundred thousand?

If names like Goldenstar and SunMicro can't rally with a strong tape, is there pent up supply in the wings?

If the textbook technical entry point is upon the retest of a breakdown (breakout), the lift to BKX 116
should be viewed as an ursine gift (in the context of defined risk)
hasn't been much of a "tell" since the Shanghai shocker.  Just when you thought you had a market recipe figured out...

I've been flummoxed plenty over the course of my career but I'll tell you, the all-time biggest curiosity has to be Aunt Fannie (+4%), which seems to be breaking out anew.

Explain something to me Willis...

How can I buy GNMA 30 year 6's at 6.16% when bank paper trades 30 basis points tighter?

This makes no sense to me and truly seems inefficient. But I was happy to buy 'em there.

And oh yeah, the 15 year 6%'s I bought? Silly season is here.

The other side of 5.25%...

I am buying a bit in here as previously mentioned but am doing so in securities that will perform well in an up market and outperform in a down market. Hence, my GNMA 6's at a yield of 6.22%.

But what if we go through 5.25%? Which is starting to look possible with the lack of any sort of bounce today (this is surprising me a bit to be brutally honest).

What resistance is through 5.25%? None. If we do, buckle your seatbelts.
